Bachelor of Technology in Oil and Gas Facilities Maintenance Students Explore Alignment, Balancing, Vibration, and Thermography Technologies while Building Strong Partnerships; Sign Letter of Intent (LOI) for Future Collaboration

Pasir Gudang, Johor - June 18, 2023 - In a quest to uncover the secrets of cutting-edge technology and forge meaningful connections, 24 students and two lecturers from the Faculty of Engineering Technology Chemical and Process (FTKKP) embarked on an exhilarating journey at Ambok Engineering Sdn Bhd in Pasir Gudang, Johor.

The visit, part of their course on alignment and condition-based maintenance (CBM), proved to be an eye-opening experience as the students delved into the realms of alignment, balancing, vibration, and thermography technologies. Led by their inspiring host, En Saiful Othman and team, the students were introduced to the practical applications of these technologies in oil and gas facility maintenance.

Under the guidance of En Saiful and team, a recognized expert in the field, the FTKKP students were exposed to state-of-the-art equipment and techniques shaping the industry's future. From understanding the intricacies of alignment to exploring the nuances of thermography, the students gained invaluable insights into optimizing maintenance practices and ensuring the smooth functioning of critical infrastructure.

En Saiful Othman and team, the epitome of a gracious and knowledgeable host, went the extra mile by extending an invitation to Ambok Engineering's clients.
